Members are continuing to benefit from DiscoverQuick.com. The ability of the Treonic framework to deal with complexity, while at the same time delivering real time results has given our members a great advantage in their professional communities, and in competing in the market place.
In April 2009 two DiscoverQuick.com communities will be presenting their work at two major professional meetings - the Australian Pain Society 29th Annual Scientific Meeting (our pain management community), and the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand (our neonatology community).
Already many of our members have published their work in international journals, or used DiscoverQuick.com to bring a product through the commercialisation pipeline, or further establish a product in the marketplace.
DiscoverQuick.com (Treonic) is the first to win an ACT government Accelerating Innovation grant. The grant is being used to further develop Treonic's innovative platform. The work on the grant is due to be finished in March 2009.
Treonic Pty Ltd spokesperson Dr Bruce Shadbolt said "This very important project was proudly supported by Business and Industry Development of the Chief Minister's Department in the Australian Capital Territory. We see the enhancement to the Treonic platform as being a major advance to the functionality we can offer members using DiscoverQuick.com. It has significantly improved client access to the system, and provided a richer experience in the professional-client interaction."
DiscoverQuick.com (Treonic) partnered with the State health department's pain management unit to win the 2008 ACT Health Consumer Participation Quality Award.
Integrating DiscoverQuick.com's Program Assessment Tool (PAT©) into the Pain Management Unit's self-managed education program has provided clear quantitative evidence to help identify the components of the education program that work, and help guide the action needed to further improve the program. In particular, patients benefited - from better communication between professionals and patients; to clearer goals that can be achieved from the education.
